Holiday time often mean disaster for workouts and healthy eating! Here are some tips to stay on track by saving time and burning fat with better workout routines! Also, some must have fitness gift ideas for the exercise lover in your life (or yourself!)
Set a goal to have 2 items of each healthy choice from a platter before indulging in a treat! Details on what food choices to make and how to work a holiday party to your weight loss advantage!
Re-think your expectations! Holiday time is not when you set major weight loss goals. Be content with maintenance, so you can enjoy some holiday treats! Do your best to get any type of workout done 3-4 times a week. Even playtime with the family can be a workout! You'll hear suggestions in the podcast!
We all want and need to save time! Use of super sets, large muscle groups and skipping cardio all burn fat! That's right, I said skip cardio! If your weights are heavy and challenging and you super set, for example, Squats and Lat Pulldowns for 3 sets of 15 and 10, respectively, your cardio will be included! Plus muscle building exercises have a greater "after burn" effect!
